Founder and CEO of Bubu.com, as well as a veteran in the tech Industry, Shinta herself has become one of Indonesia’s leading authorities on ICT, as well as a forerunner in fostering ties with Silicon Valley. 

 

As the former Managing Partner at Nusantara Ventures, a pioneering technology venture capital fund in Indonesia , Shinta has helped entrepreneurs create and grow market-leading digital media companies throughout the region.  She is also the former CEO of Indonesia's most trusted and established e-commerce portal, Plasa.com (now called Blanja.com and currently owned by TELKOM Indonesia, the nation's biggest telecommunications company). Blanja.com boasts an exclusive partnership with eBay.com in Indonesia and is currently co-invested by eBay.

 

Shinta is currently Head of The Permanent Committee for Internet and Content at The Indonesian Chambers of Commerce (KADIN), Head of Creative Economy for Design and ICT based at The Indonesian Employers Association (APINDO), and a member of The Nature Conservancy Indonesia (TNC) Program Advisory Board.
